SCRIBO  SCRIBO is an independent agency, founded in 1980 by Geneviève de Temmerman and run by a team of linguists. We publish bilingual professional dictionaries, French-English audio CDs and resources for teachers. This site mainly features our Gastronomic Dictionary collection, but we cover sectors as various as electronuclear power and botany. On request, we can develop glossaries for all professional sectors. Our French-English dictionaries for explaining and translating restaurant menus are used in cooking schools and more than 850 000 restaurants worldwide. They have become reference books for foreign gourmets.
